Purpose

Weighing and accounting of material consumption by cumulative total, transported by apron conveyors.

Application Area

The scales can be used in cement, mining, metallurgical, chemical, construction and other industries.

Principle of Operation

The mass of material in the conveyor buckets is sensed by load cells and converted into an output electrical signal, which is fed to the input of the primary conversion subunit (sPCU). A position sensor mounted on the conveyor frame converts the conveyor speed into a proportional frequency and is fed to another input of the sPCU.

The sPCU converts these signals into digital form, then the result is transmitted to the control and indication subunit (sCIU), where it is displayed on a digital indicator as values of productivity, cumulative total, linear load and conveyor speed.
